1. Shut down Aldelo on all stations if any
2. Run Aldelo on the server station
3. Touch Back Office
4. Touch Backup Database and choose where you want to back it up to
5. Touch Compact Database
ALWAYS BACKUP your database before you do anything with it
1. Right-click Aldelo shortcut icon on desktop, and select Properties
2. Look for Target field, click to place the cursor at the end of shortcut target, outside the quotations, add a space and then add “nodb”. Example: “C:Program Files/Aldelo/Aldelo For Restaurants/Aldelo For Restaurants POS/ POSAFR38.exe” nodb
3. Click OK. Now run Aldelo from the shortcut on your desktop
4. Click “I will select my own database”
5. Click “Always connect to this database”
6. Click Continue
6. Browse to the database on the computer/ shared folder on the server network
7. After it, make sure to remove the “nodb” from the shortcut’s target
1. Press F “Function” key
2. Type in the system manager password 2FF8432677 and then press ENTER
3. Press 0 for Telium Manager
4. Press 3 for Initialization
5. Press 1 for Parameters
6. Press ENTER for Date and Time
7. Press ENTER for Set Date
8. Key in MM/DD/YYYY and press ENTER
9. Press DOWN ARROW and press ENTER for Set Time
10. Key in HH:MM (Military Time) and press ENTER
11. Press CLEAR to exit
1. Press the “9” key
2. Enter the sale amount
3. Wait for the copy of the cash receipt to automatically print
1. Press the * key
2. Press “F2” for CommServer
3. Press “Reprint” under the Wrench and the Hammer
4. Press “F4” for REPAIR
5. Prompted “Repairing Connection Operation May Take Up To 1 Minute Please Wait…”
6. If Prompted, “Connection Repair Failed, …”
a. Check for loose cables
b. Check for connected cables to the correct port on the terminal and the router
b. Check for internet connection
d. Check for router lights
e. etc…
7. If Prompted, “Connection Repair Successful, Press Any Key…” and press CLEAR
8. Press the * key
9. Press CREDIT/ DEBIT to activate the application
1. Press OTHER
2. Press CLOSE BATCH
3. “Batch close complete” appears when the batch is closed
4. The terminal automatically prints a report summarizing the batch
1. Press OTHER
2. Press REFUND
3. Enter the refund amount and press ENTER
4. INSERT the card into the chip reader, SWIPE a magnetic strip card, or hold an NFC card/device near the terminal
5. Wait for the business copy of the receipt to automatically print
6. If prompted, Print Customer Receipt? Press YES to print a customer receipt or press NO for no receipt
7. Press CLEAR to exit

2. Press VOID
3. Enter SEQ # from the transaction receipt and press ENTER
4. Press OK
5. Wait for the business copy of the receipt to automatically print
6. If prompted, Print Customer Receipt? Press YES to print a customer receipt or press NO for no receipt
7. Press CLEAR to exit
1. Press OTHER
2. Press ENTER TIPS
3. Enter SEQ # from the transaction receipt and press ENTER
4. Press EDIT TIP
5. Key in the new tip amount and press ENTER
6. Press CLEAR to exit
